David Akinmunde vs Glanville Virenque

Boxing Daily Report from the Skebenga Corp promoted show at Pillars Stadium, Kano,  taking place on 11/07/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Western African Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SuperSport 5, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are David Akinmunde (31(27) - 6(5) - 1) who hails from Maiduguri, Nigeria and Glanville Virenque(31 - 16(15) - 1) from Abidjan, Ivory Coast.  Akinmunde weighed in at 200 pounds, while Virenque weighed in at 199 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Gbolahan Lagelu, and the three ringside judges are Josh Ladipo, Lukman Adoke and Cody Atorudibo.
