Alessio Scalia vs Vanni Rodano

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Sicily promoted show at Palermo Parro, Palermo,  taking place on 25/06/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Sicily Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alessio Scalia (9 - 19 - 2) who hails from Catania, Italy and Vanni Rodano(17 - 11 - 7) from Catania, Italy.  Scalia weighed in at 140 pounds, while Rodano weighed in at 140 pounds and 10 ounces.    As Rodano came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Bernardo Foti, and the three ringside judges are Colombo Masotti, Savio Trapattoni and Antonio Gallico.  

Round 1: 

Scalia is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross.
