Rodrigo Vera vs Joel Mundy

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Casino Miami Jai Alai, Miami,  taking place on 18/07/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rodrigo Vera (15(8) - 0) who hails from Surprise, USA and Joel Mundy(30 - 14(3) - 1) from Athens, USA.  Both Vera and Mundy weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cole Ghant, and the three ringside judges are James Villasana, Joshua Vara and Ian Mortland.  

Round 1: 

Vera advances into close range.  Mundy lands a solid left hook.

Mundy switches the action to the outside.  Vera connects with a cross.  
Vera steps inside.  Mundy drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  Mundy attempts to land a left uppercut, but Vera blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Vera walks Mundy onto the ropes.  Mundy drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Mundy steps to the outside and hits home with an overhand right.  
Vera switches the action to the outside and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Vera gets on the inside and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Vera steps to the outside and hits home with an overhand right.

Vera lands a cross, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS MUNDY SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Vera!
