Louis Beavin vs Elliot Cary

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Broadbent Arena, Louisville,  taking place on 08/08/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Louis Beavin (12(9) - 0) who hails from Little Rock, USA and Elliot Cary(22 - 13(1) - 6) from New York City, USA.  Both Beavin and Cary weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Roger Crombie, and the three ringside judges are Mark Coppin, Ian Buist and Bart Dow.  

Round 1: 

Cary lands a right uppercut.  
Beavin steps away from his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Beavin sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab to the body followed by a overhand left to the head.  
Beavin tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand right.  
Beavin lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Beavin lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Beavin lands a ramrod jab.  
Beavin lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Beavin lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Beavin steps away from his opponent and lands a cross, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.  
Cary is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but Beavin ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Beavin pushes his forearm into Cary's face.  The referee warns Beavin and breaks the clinch.  
Beavin lands with a ramrod jab.  
Beavin switches the action to the outside and connects with an overhand right.  
Beavin lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Cary almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Beavin is on target with a jab.  
Beavin sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Beavin is on target with a sharp cross to Cary's body.  
Cary is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but Beavin clinches his opponent.  Beavin is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Beavin lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Beavin holds on to his opponent.  Beavin leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Beavin steps away from his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Beavin switches the action to the outside and hits home with a sharp overhand right.  
Beavin is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with a SAVAGE overhand right.  CARY IS HURT!  Cary recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cary's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Cary's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Beavin lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Cary could be stopped here, if Beavin can find the right shot!  Beavin lands two right hooks followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS CARY DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  
Beavin steps away from his opponent.  Beavin lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND CARY IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Beavin!
