Boxing Daily Report from the Assifuah Promotions promoted show at Aba Akinnifesi, Aba,  taking place on 31/05/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Abia State Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mel Afonja (1 - 0) who hails from Aba, Nigeria and Yakubu Abedi(19 - 13(1) - 2) from Aba, Nigeria.  Afonja weighed in at 153 pounds and 10 ounces, while Abedi weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jay Onuegbu, and the three ringside judges are Lukman Shuaib, Theophilus Williams and Ibrahim Iman.
