Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles,  taking place on 18/07/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kris the Missle Jones (50(32) - 1(1) - 1) who hails from Centennial, USA and Ovidio Hernadez(27(8) - 12(10)) from Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic.  Both Jones and Hernadez weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leon Corona, and the three ringside judges are Sid Marcial, Josh Butchart and David Moffet.  

Round 1: 

Hernadez hits home with a firm cross.

Hernadez is looking to close the distance and manouvers Jones onto the ropes.  Hernadez pivots from in front of his opponent.  Hernadez lands a right uppercut.  Jones ties up his opponent.  Hernadez is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Hernadez advances into close range and tries to land a left hook, but Jones slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Jones quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a stinging jab.

Hernadez advances into close range and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Hernadez throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Hernadez walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Jones lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Jones sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Hernadez steps inside.  Hernadez pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Jones switches the action to the outside.  Jones quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands an overhand right to the head followed by a jab to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Hernadez gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook.  Jones holds on to his opponent.  Hernadez is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Jones pushes his forearm into Hernadez's face.  The referee warns Jones and breaks the clinch.

Hernadez steps to the outside.  Jones lands a cross, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!

Hernadez tries to step out of his opponents range.  Jones lands two straights followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Hernadez gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Jones tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Hernadez is looking to close the distance and is on target with a firm right hook.  
Jones is looking to keep his distance.  Jones circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Hernadez tries to land a jab, but Jones sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.
