Brett Moncayo vs Jing Cai

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles,  taking place on 11/07/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hitman Brett Moncayo (22(20) - 0) who hails from Reno, USA and Jing Cai(25(17) - 24(20) - 1) from Xiamen, China.  Both Moncayo and Cai weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Justin Lever, and the three ringside judges are Dave Carrasco, Charlie Valdivia and Aaron Fergerson.  

Round 1: 

Moncayo closes the distance.  Moncayo pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Cai connects with a left hook.  
Moncayo connects with a sharp left hook.  
Moncayo is looking to close the distance and connects with a solid left uppercut.  
Cai throws a right uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Moncayo ties up his opponent.  Moncayo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Moncayo and breaks the clinch.  
Moncayo lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  Moncayo tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Moncayo advances into close range and is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents ribs.

Cai attempts to land a jab, but Moncayo dodges the shot and counters with a firm cross.

Cai tries to keep the action at long range and tries to land a jab, but Moncayo blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Cai steps away from his opponent and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Moncayo connects with a stinging left hook.  Moncayo throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Cai tries to keep the action at long range.  Cai sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Moncayo throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Moncayo's ribs.

Cai is on target with a jab.  Cai throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Moncayo gets on the inside.  Cai throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Cai is on target with a jab.  Cai tries to land a jab, but Moncayo sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.

Moncayo stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Moncayo lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS CAI DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Moncayo is on target with a WICKED right hook.  CAI IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Cai has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Cai finds the target with a jab.  
Cai advances into close range and is on target with a right hook.  
Moncayo is on target with a left hook to Cai's body.  
Moncayo throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Moncayo hits home with a solid right hook.  Moncayo attempts to land a right hook, but Cai sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Moncayo walks Cai into a corner.  Moncayo lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Cai drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  Moncayo ties up his opponent.  Moncayo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Moncayo lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Cai recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Moncayo lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Cai quickly recovers.

Moncayo steps inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Moncayo ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Cai pushes his forearm into Moncayo's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Cai about fouling.  
Moncayo throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.
