Gareth Hare vs Owen Newell

Boxing Daily Report from the Sihumbwa Promotions promoted show at Milwaukee Raad, Milwaukee,  taking place on 06/05/2037:

Clearly Sihumbwa Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Wisconsin Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gareth Hare (9 - 24(2) - 3) who hails from Milwaukee, USA and Owen Newell(15 - 17(3) - 3) from Madison, USA.  Both Hare and Newell weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Justin Deer, and the three ringside judges are Andy Mateer, Michael Yeamans and Davie Ugbusien.  

Round 1: 

Newell steps inside.  Hare lands a left hook.  
Hare lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Hare steps inside and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Newell pivots to the right of his opponent.  Hare throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Newell to the neutral corner.  He lectures Hare but does not take away a point.
