Rex Maben vs Barry Toller

Boxing Daily Report from the Bhengu Promotions promoted show at Louisville Bruce, Louisville,  taking place on 04/05/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Kentucky Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rex Maben (35 - 10(3) - 1) who hails from Louisville, USA and Barry Toller(4 - 16(2) - 1) from Louisville, USA.  Both Maben and Toller weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Edgar, and the three ringside judges are Michael Balderston, John Erskin and Mark Slone.  

Round 1: 

Maben closes the distance and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Maben tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand right.  
Toller gets on the inside.  Maben sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Maben lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Toller lands a jab.  Toller attempts to land a left uppercut, but Maben dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Maben steps inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Maben switches the action to the outside and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Maben lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Maben advances into close range and manouvers Toller onto the ropes.  Maben drives a left hook into Toller's body.  
Maben advances into close range and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Maben gets on the inside.  Maben leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Toller tries to tag Maben on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!

Frustration is starting to boil over for Toller now.   He steps in close and headbutts his opponent!  The ref halts the action and sends Maben to the neutral corner.    He tells Toller to clean up his game.  The ref's patience seems to be wearing thin.

Maben closes the distance.  Toller throws a left hook, but Maben holds on to his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Maben is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Maben advances into close range.  Toller throws a right uppercut, but Maben clinches his opponent.  Toller leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Maben lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Maben steps away from his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Toller gets on the inside.  Maben lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Maben dabs at his face checking for damage.  Maben has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Maben lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Maben ties up his opponent.  Maben is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Maben's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Maben tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a hard jab.

Toller is looking to close the distance.  Maben lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Maben is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Maben is on target with a jab.  
Toller closes the distance.  Maben lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Maben steps away from his opponent.  Maben senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Toller and just needs the right shot.  Maben lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body, AND KNOCKS TOLLER DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Maben drives a potent cross into Toller's body.  DOWN GOES TOLLER!  HE REMAINS ON THE CANVAS AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Maben!
