Joel McReynolds vs Alastair McAlpin

Boxing Daily Report from the Harvey Parker promoted show at Irish Centre, Leeds,  taking place on 16/04/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the British-Northern England Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joel McReynolds (20(2) - 6(3) - 2) who hails from Blackpool, UK and Alastair McAlpin(30(20) - 12(6)) from Preston, UK.  Both McReynolds and McAlpin weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ronald McAlinden, and the three ringside judges are Robert McQueen, Mick MacNaughton and Kenzie Dredge.  

Round 1: 

McReynolds lands with a spiteful jab.  
McAlpin steps inside and lands a stinging right hook.  
McAlpin manages to force McReynolds onto the ropes.  McAlpin digs in a right hook to his opponents body.

McAlpin slams a mean left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  MCREYNOLDS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  McReynolds quickly recovers. 
McReynolds attempts to land a left hook, but McAlpin blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
McAlpin advances into close range and manages to force McReynolds onto the ropes.  McAlpin connects with a firm right hook.  McAlpin ties up his opponent.  McAlpin pushes his forearm into McReynolds's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
McAlpin is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  McAlpin ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, McAlpin pushes his forearm into McReynolds's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  McAlpin attempts to land a left uppercut, but McReynolds parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
McAlpin steps inside and forces McReynolds to back into the corner.  McAlpin drives a sharp left uppercut into McReynolds's body.

McAlpin walks his opponent into the red corner.  McReynolds lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
McReynolds lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
McAlpin steps inside.  McReynolds quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  McAlpin is on target with a stinging left uppercut to McReynolds's body.  
McAlpin is on target with a right hook to McReynolds's body.  McAlpin clinches his opponent.  McAlpin leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, McReynolds pushes his forearm into McAlpin's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures McReynolds about fouling.  
McAlpin connects with a sharp right hook.  As McReynolds tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to McAlpin.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
McReynolds is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross to the head, a jab to the body and a jab to the head.  
McAlpin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  McReynolds drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
McReynolds tries to keep the action at long range and lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
McReynolds switches the action to the outside and lands a sharp jab.
