Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-California promoted show at San Francisco Bates, San Francisco,  taking place on 05/04/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-California Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Richie Safley (21 - 22(2) - 3) who hails from Santa Ana, USA and Malcolm Cava(36(17) - 3(1) - 2) from San Jose, USA.  Both Safley and Cava weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Vaughn, and the three ringside judges are John Malpass, Josh Beltran and Bradley Fortun.  

Round 1: 

Cava lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Cava is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Safley tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a cross.  
Cava advances into close range and is on target with a stinging right hook.
