Harry Finn vs Brandon Fitzgerald

Boxing Daily Report from the RJM Boxing promoted show at Ice Arena, Cardiff,  taking place on 01/10/2036:

Clearly RJM Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Celtic Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Harry Finn (16(13) - 1) who hails from Swansea, UK and Brandon Fitzgerald(13 - 13(2) - 4) from Galway, Ireland.  Finn weighed in at 146 pounds and 11 ounces, while Fitzgerald weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joshua Gillespie, and the three ringside judges are Edwyn Brodie, Terry Lyons and Yasin Ozer.  

Round 1: 

Finn advances into close range.  Fitzgerald pivots to the left of his opponent.  Finn lands a right hook.  
Finn is looking to close the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Finn clinches his opponent.  Finn pushes his forearm into Fitzgerald's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Finn to stop fouling.  
Fitzgerald quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Finn finds the target with a jab.  
Finn advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Finn holds on to his opponent.  Finn leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Finn uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Fitzgerald behind the head. 
Finn drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Finn is looking to close the distance.  Fitzgerald throws a left uppercut, but Finn clinches his opponent.  Finn leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Finn walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Finn digs in a stinging left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Finn lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  Finn clinches his opponent.  Finn leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Finn strikes his opponents body with a sharp cross.  
Finn lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Finn is looking to close the distance.  Finn sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES FITZGERALD!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Fitzgerald recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Finn lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Finn is on target with a sharp right uppercut to Fitzgerald's ribs.  Finn ties up his opponent.  Finn leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Finn's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Finn closes the distance.  Finn sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Finn lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Finn forces Fitzgerald to retreat into a corner.  Fitzgerald attempts to land a left hook, but Finn sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Fitzgerald's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Finn lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Finn is on target with a sharp left uppercut to Fitzgerald's liver.  
Finn drives a left uppercut into Fitzgerald's liver.  
Finn digs in a solid right uppercut to Fitzgerald's body.  
Finn drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  Finn wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Fitzgerald has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Finn lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Finn lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Finn clinches his opponent.  Finn is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Finn uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Fitzgerald's kidney. 
Finn sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Finn lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Finn lands a sharp left hook.  
Finn is on target with a solid left hook to Fitzgerald's ribs.  
Finn is on target with a solid cross.  
Finn closes the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Finn steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  
Finn lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Fitzgerald quickly recovers.

Finn sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a stiff jab.  
Finn crashes a mean left hook to his opponents liver.  IT LOOKS LIKE FITZGERALD WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Finn walks his opponent into the corner.  Some sustained pressure from Finn could be enough to finish Fitzgerald!  Finn lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body, AND SENDS FITZGERALD TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  Fitzgerald now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Finn manages to force Fitzgerald into the red corner.  Finn lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND DROPS FITZGERALD!  The count reaches 10, but Fitzgerald is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Finn!
