Mark Forrest vs Chris Whelan

Boxing Daily Report from the Jon Crosby promoted show at Olympic Park Sports Hall, Sydney,  taking place on 04/10/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Mark Forrest (1 - 0) who hails from North Shore, New Zealand and Chris Whelan(2 - 0) from Perth, Australia.  Forrest weighed in at 126 pounds, while Whelan weighed in at 125 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jordan Duane, and the three ringside judges are Hugh MacMaster, Dale Touch and Gareth Boswell.  

Round 1: 

As Forrest tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Whelan dabs at his face checking for damage.

Forrest is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Forrest ties up his opponent.  Forrest is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Forrest's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Forrest advances into close range.  Forrest pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Forrest is on target with a left hook to Whelan's body.  
Forrest finds the target with a jab.  
Forrest is looking to close the distance.  Forrest pivots to the side of his opponent.  Forrest lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Forrest holds on to his opponent.  Forrest is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
