Alan Geschke vs Evgeny Volkov

Boxing Daily Report from the GBWH Promotions promoted show at Atlas Arena, Lodz,  taking place on 18/10/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Eastern Europe Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Polsat Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Attitude Alan Geschke (12(4) - 0) who hails from Krakow, Poland and Evgeny Volkov(22 - 22(11) - 3) from Moscow, Russia.  Both Geschke and Volkov weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tomasz Wawrzyniak, and the three ringside judges are Szczeosny Gadzinski, Bonifacy Boduch and Tomasz Kloc.  

Round 1: 

Geschke steps away from his opponent.  Geschke feints a left, and then lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Volkov attempts to land a cross, but Geschke sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Geschke is looking to keep his distance.  Geschke sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Volkov manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Volkov digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Volkov attempts to land a jab, but Geschke dodges the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Geschke steps away from his opponent.  Volkov lands a straight 1 - 2.  Volkov attempts to land a jab, but Geschke blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Geschke hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Volkov forces Geschke to retreat onto the ropes.  Geschke is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Geschke hits home with a cross.  
Volkov drives a left hook into Geschke's body.  
Volkov connects with an overhand left.  
Volkov attempts to land a jab, but Geschke sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Geschke lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Volkov hits home with a ramrod jab.  Volkov throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Volkov tries to land a jab, but Geschke dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Geschke sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Geschke tries to land a left uppercut, but Volkov sidesteps and counters with a left hook to Geschke's body.  
Volkov steps to the outside and tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Geschke lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Geschke senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Geschke lands a HUGE right uppercut.  VOLKOV HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 7.  It looks like Volkov has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Volkov attempts to land a cross, but Geschke slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Geschke feints a left hook, and then hits home with a stiff jab.  
Geschke lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Volkov hits home with a stiff jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Volkov's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Volkov's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Volkov manages to force Geschke into the corner.  Geschke hits the target with a stinging jab.  
Geschke lands a sharp left hook.  
Volkov sidesteps to the left of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Volkov sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Geschke throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Geschke lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a jab to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Volkov recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Geschke steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Volkov lands with a hard jab.  
Geschke lands a straight 1 - 2.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Volkov forces Geschke to back into the ropes.  Geschke is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Geschke slams a mean left uppercut into Volkov's ribs.  VOLKOV HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Geschke advances into close range and connects with a SAVAGE right hook.  VOLKOV HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Geschke!
