Carlos Ruan vs Neper Can

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Costa Rica-San Jose promoted show at Guillermo Villasana Gym, San Jose,  taking place on 09/10/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Costa Rica-San Jose Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Ruan (13 - 8 - 2) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Neper Can(6 - 4(1) - 3) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  Both Ruan and Can weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ramirez Villalta, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Guzman, Cezar Gall and Loredo Mesquita.  

Round 1: 

Can lands a solid jab.  
Can closes the distance and attempts to land a right hook, but Ruan slips the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.
