James Garr vs Steven Maere

Boxing Daily Report from the Jon Crosby promoted show at Wilding Park Tennis Centre, Christchurch,  taking place on 27/09/2036:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Garr (3(3) - 0) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Steven Maere(10 - 17(2) - 4) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Garr weighed in at 129 pounds and 14 ounces, while Maere weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Fergerson, and the three ringside judges are Dave Sprouse, Noel Haxton and Ian Webb.  

Round 1: 

Garr drives a right uppercut into Maere's ribs.
