Guilio Matis vs Persius Patera

Boxing Daily Report from the Mike Kontoleon promoted show at Urian Anthis Gym, Thessaloniki,  taking place on 25/09/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Greece-Central Macedonia Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Guilio Matis (13 - 16(1) - 3) who hails from Thessaloniki, Greece and Persius Patera(19(2) - 7(3) - 1) from Thessaloniki, Greece.  Matis weighed in at 146 pounds and 1 ounces, while Patera weighed in at 146 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Cristophe Petrou, and the three ringside judges are Jurgisr Palamara, Gregor Zanni and Philippe Nikolas.  

Round 1: 

Matis pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Patera advances into close range and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Patera lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Patera lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Patera advances into close range and is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents liver.  
Patera is on target with a right hook to Matis's body.  Patera ties up his opponent.  Matis tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Patera's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Patera hits home with a firm cross.  
Patera steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS MATIS TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  Matis almost instantly gets his legs back.

Patera closes the distance.  Patera sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Matis throws a left uppercut, but Patera ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Patera lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Matis tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a cross.  
Patera is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Matis's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Matis's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Matis's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Matis throws a left hook, but Patera holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Patera pushes his forearm into Matis's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Patera.  
Patera DETONATES a big right hook on his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE MATIS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Matis almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Matis manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Matis throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Patera advances into close range.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Patera dabs at his face checking for damage.
