Esteban Blandon vs Ethan Bethell

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Los USA, Providence,  taking place on 07/09/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Esteban Blandon (2 - 0) who hails from San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic and Ethan Bethell(2 - 4) from Modesto, USA.  Both Blandon and Bethell weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Charlie Mate, and the three ringside judges are Declan Hernandez, John Montoya and Charlie Mate.  

Round 1: 

Blandon drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  
Blandon drives a sharp left hook into Bethell's liver.  
Blandon manouvers Bethell into the corner.  Blandon digs in a solid left hook to Bethell's ribs.  Blandon clinches his opponent.  Blandon pushes his forearm into Bethell's face.  The referee warns Blandon and breaks the clinch.  
Blandon is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Blandon lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Blandon pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Bethell steps to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Blandon feints a jab, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Blandon is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Blandon connects with a sharp left hook.  
Bethell attempts to land a jab, but Blandon slips the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Blandon sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Blandon advances into close range and walks Bethell into a corner.  Blandon lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Bethell tries to keep the action at long range.  Blandon feints a jab, but Bethell does not fall for it and lands with a right hook.  
Blandon closes the distance.  Bethell sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Blandon lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Bethell tries to land a jab, but Blandon slips the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Blandon is looking to close the distance.  Bethell quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Blandon is on target with a left hook.

Blandon lands a stinging right uppercut.

Blandon slams a hurtful right hook into Bethell's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE BETHELL WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Blandon ties up his opponent.  Blandon is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Blandon is looking to force the stoppage!  Blandon lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, DROPPING BETHELL TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  It looks like Bethell has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Bethell is not fighting as well as he'd like.   He swings an uppercut into his opponents groin! The ref doesnt appear to have noticed the foul and signals for the action to continue.  
Blandon gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Blandon pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Blandon feints a cross, tricking Bethell into launching a cross counter.  Blandon springs the trap, countering with  a solid cross.  
Blandon advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Blandon closes the distance.  Bethell is starting to lose his temper here.   He advances forward with head down and it catches Blandon in the face!  The ref halts the action and sends Blandon to the neutral corner.    He warns Bethell that he is heading for a point deduction.  
Blandon lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Bethell hits home with a cross.  
Blandon advances into close range and lands a firm left hook.  
Blandon is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Blandon lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Blandon digs in a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  Blandon tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Blandon digs in a right hook to Bethell's ribcage.

Blandon pivots to the side of his opponent and SLAMS a spiteful cross into his opponents face.  DOWN GOES BETHELL!  He is back up on his feet at 7.

Blandon pivots from in front of his opponent.  Bethell lands a right hook.

At the end of Round 5, lets listen in on the corners...Blandon's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.  Bethell's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!
