Peter Xenakis vs Leon Vassallo

Boxing Daily Report from the Australia Boxing Organisation promoted show at Melbourne Flint, Melbourne,  taking place on 17/09/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Victoria Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Peter Xenakis (6 - 6(1) - 2) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Leon Vassallo(5(1) - 6(1) - 1) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Xenakis and Vassallo weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Glynn Soprano, and the three ringside judges are Alastair Mun, John Kissick and Paul Tighe.  

Round 1: 

Vassallo gets on the inside.  Vassallo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Vassallo walks Xenakis down, trapping him in the corner.  Vassallo lands a left hook.

Vassallo manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Vassallo lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Vassallo ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Vassallo pushes his forearm into Xenakis's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Vassallo to stop fouling.
