Billy McAslan vs Ellis Crookshank

Boxing Daily Report from the Phala Promotions promoted show at Adelaide Cunningham, Adelaide,  taking place on 16/09/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Billy McAslan (14(8) - 0 - 1) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Ellis Crookshank(7 - 3(1) - 4) from Newcastle, Australia.  Both McAslan and Crookshank weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Carnes, and the three ringside judges are Kian Pugh, Steven Kavanah and Joel Boward.  

Round 1: 

McAslan steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  McAslan clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, McAslan pushes his forearm into Crookshank's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Crookshank tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
McAslan finds the target with a jab.  
McAslan closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  McAslan holds on to his opponent.  McAslan pushes his forearm into Crookshank's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns McAslan.

McAslan walks Crookshank down, trapping him in the blue corner.  McAslan lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Crookshank lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
McAslan gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Crookshank closes the distance.  McAslan digs in a right hook to Crookshank's ribcage.  
McAslan throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  McAslan clinches his opponent.  McAslan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks McAslan's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
