Leighton Chemutai vs Ricky Maingi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kisumu promoted show at Kisumu Mwangangi, Kisumu,  taking place on 15/09/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Leighton Chemutai (13(9) - 1) who hails from Kisumu, Kenya and Ricky Maingi(9 - 4(2) - 2) from Kisumu, Kenya.  Both Chemutai and Maingi weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kendis Rimbui, and the three ringside judges are Paul Babla, David Macgoye and Mick Mutu.
