Tariq Ressam vs Waqas Abbas

Boxing Daily Report from the Garabetian Promotions promoted show at Algiers Yveton, Algiers,  taking place on 14/09/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Algeria Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Canal Algérie, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Tariq Ressam (4 - 1) who hails from Annaba, Algeria and Waqas Abbas(11 - 5 - 1) from Algiers, Algeria.  Ressam weighed in at 112 pounds, while Abbas weighed in at 111 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Abdul Gardel, and the three ringside judges are Faisal Belkaroui, Umair Ghermati and Rashid Cherif.  

Round 1: 

Ressam digs in a left uppercut to Abbas's body.
