Mick Verwoerd vs Ian Gower

Boxing Daily Report from the African Boxing 2.0 promoted show at Athlone Stadium, Cape Town,  taking place on 30/09/2036:

Clearly African Boxing 2.0 have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Commonwealth Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mick Verwoerd (22(6) - 12(9) - 1) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Ian Gower(20(5) - 5(5) - 1) from Spanish Town, Jamaica.  Both Verwoerd and Gower weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Laken Ako, and the three ringside judges are Laken Ako, Runako Mashaba and Jake Tshipapayi.
