Aleksei Stepanov vs Harvey McBeth

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Roundhouse, London,  taking place on 11/10/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Aleksei Stepanov (6(2) - 0) who hails from Mogilev, Belarus and Harvey McBeth(15 - 15(3)) from Birmingham, UK.  Both Stepanov and McBeth weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Power, and the three ringside judges are Gary Rheon, Andrew McCargo and Hayden Maguire.  

Round 1: 

Stepanov lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.

Stepanov is looking to close the distance.  Stepanov pivots to the left of his opponent.  Stepanov attempts to land a left hook, but McBeth blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
McBeth steps to the outside.  Stepanov lands a cross.  
Stepanov pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a firm cross.  
Stepanov tries to keep the action at long range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Stepanov walks his opponent into the corner.  Stepanov lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Stepanov lands a left uppercut.  
Stepanov pivots from in front of his opponent.  Stepanov throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Stepanov holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Stepanov pushes his forearm into McBeth's face.  The ref breaks Stepanov's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Stepanov walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Stepanov is on target with a solid left uppercut to McBeth's body.  
Stepanov lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Stepanov digs in a right hook to McBeth's body.  Stepanov holds on to his opponent.  Stepanov tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits McBeth's kidney. The ref breaks Stepanov's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Stepanov closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Stepanov leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  McBeth tries to tag Stepanov on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Stepanov is looking to keep the action on the outside and drives a sharp jab into his opponents face.  
Stepanov gets on the inside and digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
McBeth tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Stepanov connects with a right hook.  
Stepanov advances into close range and drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Stepanov is on target with a solid left uppercut to McBeth's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...McBeth's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  McBeth's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  McBeth's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

McBeth tries to step out of his opponents range.  McBeth sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Stepanov finds the target with a jab.  
McBeth steps to the outside.  Stepanov lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Stepanov closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Stepanov lands a jab.  
Stepanov steps inside.  McBeth quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Stepanov lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
McBeth pivots to the side of his opponent.  Stepanov is on target with a cross.  
Stepanov advances into close range and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
McBeth feints a left hook, but Stepanov ignores the feint and lands with a firm left hook.  
Stepanov closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS MCBETH DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Stepanov pivots to the side of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head, DROPPING MCBETH TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  McBeth now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Stepanov lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Stepanov is looking to close the distance.  McBeth pivots from in front of his opponent.  Stepanov lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Stepanov is looking to close the distance.  McBeth sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Stepanov lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Stepanov is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
McBeth tries to step out of his opponents range.  Stepanov lands a stinging jab.  
Stepanov advances into close range.  McBeth sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Stepanov lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Stepanov steps inside and lands a left hook.  
Stepanov closes the distance and connects with a HUGE right hook.  MCBETH WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  

Stepanov steps away from his opponent and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND DROPS MCBETH!  The count reaches 10, but McBeth is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Stepanov!
