Pernell Orme vs Chris Provan

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at Bell Centre, Montreal,  taking place on 23/08/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESPN, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Pernell Orme (8 - 0) who hails from Gaineau, Canada and Chris Provan(1 - 7 - 1) from London, Canada.  Orme weighed in at 237 pounds and 15 ounces, while Provan weighed in at 232 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sid Leys, and the three ringside judges are Aramis Duvauchelle, James Mabon and Brendan Aitken.  

Round 1: 

Orme waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Provan attempts to land a left uppercut, but Orme slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Orme steps inside.  Orme lands a left hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Orme dabs at his face checking for damage.
