Cody Aplaon vs Farhan Mattar

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Cebu City Sports Complex, Cebu City,  taking place on 06/09/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the South Asian Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ABS Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Cody Aplaon (35(26) - 3 - 2) who hails from General Trias, Philippines and Farhan Mattar(23(3) - 3(1)) from Johor Bahru, Malaysia.  Both Aplaon and Mattar weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eduardo Macalam, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Baliad, Cris Merida and Mike Olalia.
