Kazuhiko Omura vs Hideki Matsuzaki

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hyogo promoted show at Kobe Kawata, Kobe,  taking place on 28/08/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hyogo Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kazuhiko Omura (11 - 11 - 4) who hails from Himeji, Japan and Hideki Matsuzaki(11 - 12(2) - 1) from Kobe, Japan.  Omura weighed in at 135 pounds, while Matsuzaki weighed in at 134 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kazuhiko Hayashi, and the three ringside judges are Hisao Furuta, Nao Arakaki and Kazuhiko Fujii.  

Round 1: 

Omura throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Matsuzaki gets on the inside.  As Matsuzaki tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Omura dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Omura.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Matsuzaki steps inside and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Matsuzaki manages to force Omura into a corner.  Matsuzaki quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Omura hits home with a left hook.

Matsuzaki pivots to the right of his opponent and strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Omura is looking to keep his distance.  Matsuzaki drives a cross into Omura's body.

Matsuzaki advances into close range.  Omura pivots to the right of his opponent.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Omura has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.  
Matsuzaki steps inside.  Omura pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Matsuzaki closes the distance.  Omura digs in a left hook to Matsuzaki's body.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Omura's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Omura's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Matsuzaki's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.
