Boxing Daily Report from the Eck Promotions promoted show at Amer Amir Gym, Giza,  taking place on 24/08/2036:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Egypt-Giza Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Farhan Tamer (6 - 19 - 4) who hails from Giza, Egypt and Ahmed Elgheriany(11 - 4 - 1) from Giza, Egypt.  Both Tamer and Elgheriany weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Waqar Azizi, and the three ringside judges are Zuffur Gad, Waleed Alawa and Imran Kemsit.  

Round 1: 

Elgheriany lands a left hook.  
Elgheriany switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab.

Elgheriany steps inside.  Tamer wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Elgheriany dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Elgheriany.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Tamer steps inside.  Elgheriany goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Tamer time to recover.  
Elgheriany is on target with a jab.  
Tamer is on target with a right hook.
