Nasario Jarquin vs Sierra Cotto

Boxing Daily Report from the Sucre Promotions promoted show at Hilton Colon Guayaquil, Guayaquil,  taking place on 12/09/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Guayas Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nasario Jarquin (27 - 6 - 4) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Sierra Cotto(7(2) - 1) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Both Jarquin and Cotto weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Angel Chavana, and the three ringside judges are Pedro Siman, Quico Gaytan and Ovidio Alarcon.  

Round 1:

Cotto advances into close range.  Jarquin pivots from in front of his opponent.  Cotto lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Cotto lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Cotto ties up his opponent.  Cotto uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Jarquin behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Cotto to stop holding.
