Essien Zimba vs Runako Kasambala

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zambia-Lusaka promoted show at Lusaka Saileti, Lusaka,  taking place on 16/08/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zambia Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Essien Zimba (17 - 15(1)) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Runako Kasambala(15 - 19 - 6) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Zimba weighed in at 107 pounds and 15 ounces, while Kasambala weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vashon Kalunga, and the three ringside judges are Napoleon Nanyangwe, Diallo Mbilila and Rich Kabaghe.  

Round 1: 

Kasambala steps to the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Zimba sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Zimba advances into close range.  Kasambala sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Zimba lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Zimba lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Zimba drives a right hook into Kasambala's body.  
Kasambala pivots to the side of his opponent.  Zimba lands a stiff jab.  
Zimba is on target with a jab.  
Zimba lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Zimba advances into close range.  Zimba pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Kasambala quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Zimba hits home with a cross.  
Zimba lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kasambala steps away from his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Zimba closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kasambala's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Zimba steps inside and digs in a left hook to Kasambala's ribs.  
Zimba manouvers Kasambala into a corner.  Zimba is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Zimba closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Zimba lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Zimba attempts to land a right hook, but Kasambala blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Zimba advances into close range.  Zimba quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Zimba attempts to land a cross, but Kasambala slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Zimba is looking to close the distance.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
