Ponce Cortez vs Alano Monterroso

Boxing Daily Report from the Chigaga Promotions promoted show at Santa Cruz de la Sie Vidrio, Santa Cruz de la Sierra,  taking place on 13/08/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Bolivia Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Tigo Bolivia, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ponce Cortez (28(6) - 2(1)) who hails from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia and Alano Monterroso(22 - 6(3)) from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.  Both Cortez and Monterroso weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Quezada, and the three ringside judges are Angel Morejon, Diego Penaranda and Rodrigo Prisco.  

Round 1: 

Cortez closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to Monterroso's body.
