Joaquin Gaspar vs Kiki Cal

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Copacabana Palace, Rio de Janeiro,  taking place on 23/08/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Joaquin Gaspar (5(1) - 0) who hails from Recife, Brazil and Kiki Cal(2 - 0 - 1) from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  Both Gaspar and Cal weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ulises Domingues, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Betancourt, Bronco Campos and Franco Losada.  

Round 1: 

Gaspar lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Cal wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gaspar dabs at his face checking for damage.
