Zenon Paredes vs Diego Nieto

Boxing Daily Report from the Pacific and Andean Promotions promoted show at Coliseo La Tortuga, La Florida,  taking place on 23/08/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Chile Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports Chile, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Zenon Paredes (19(12) - 1) who hails from Las Condes, Chile and Diego Nieto(8 - 3(1)) from Valparaiso, Chile.  Paredes weighed in at 108 pounds, while Nieto weighed in at 107 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Eduardo Martel, and the three ringside judges are Juan Recio, Baltasar Pedregon and Ovidio Barco.  

Round 1: 

Nieto sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Nieto attempts to land a left hook, but Paredes slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Paredes closes the distance.  Paredes pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  
Paredes lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Paredes holds on to his opponent.  Paredes is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Paredes about fouling.  
Nieto tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with an overhand left.  Nieto tries to land a jab, but Paredes sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.

Paredes backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Nieto is whaling away with hooks, but Paredes keeps his defence tight.  
Nieto sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Paredes finds the target with a jab.  
Paredes steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Nieto pivots to the side of his opponent.  Paredes throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Paredes ties up his opponent.  Paredes is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Paredes is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Paredes lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.  Paredes holds on to his opponent.  Paredes is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Paredes tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Nieto's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Paredes to stop fouling.

Paredes holds on to his opponent.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Paredes to stop holding.
