Roger Laidley vs Kian Ewing

Boxing Daily Report from the Skol Promotions promoted show at Waitakere Mollison, Waitakere,  taking place on 30/07/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Roger Laidley (4 - 3 - 5) who hails from North Shore, New Zealand and Kian Ewing(18 - 14(2) - 1) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Both Laidley and Ewing weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Oakley, and the three ringside judges are Clinton Martie, Jack Hislop and Jake Smith.  

Round 1: 

Laidley steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Ewing is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Ewing lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Laidley finds the target with a jab.  
Ewing lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  Ewing tries to land a cross, but Laidley blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
