Zacarias Sagun vs Gonzalo Meneses

Boxing Daily Report from the Pacific and Andean Promotions promoted show at Coliseo La Tortuga, La Florida,  taking place on 23/08/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Chile Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports Chile, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Zacarias Sagun (15(12) - 0) who hails from Las Condes, Chile and Gonzalo Meneses(13 - 7(2) - 4) from Puente Alto, Chile.  Both Sagun and Meneses weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Baltasar Pedregon, and the three ringside judges are Juan Recio, Eduardo Martel and Ovidio Barco.  

Round 1: 

Sagun lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Meneses walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Meneses throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sagun lands a jab, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Sagun lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Sagun closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Sagun clinches his opponent.  Sagun is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Sagun and breaks the clinch.  
Sagun hits home with a right uppercut.  
Meneses lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Sagun steps to the outside and connects with a stinging cross.  Sagun tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Meneses quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Sagun hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Sagun connects with a cross.  
Sagun is on target with a jab.  
Meneses throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Sagun attempts to land a cross, but Meneses sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Sagun steps to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Sagun is looking to keep his distance and connects with a stinging cross.  
Sagun gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Sagun is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a hurtful overhand right.  MENESES WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Sagun stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Sagun lands a right uppercut to the body, a cross to the head and a right hook to the head, AND DOWN GOES MENESES!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like Meneses has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Sagun lands a right hook, jab and a cross to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Meneses quickly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Sagun's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Meneses's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Meneses's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Sagun is looking to close the distance and drives a left uppercut into Meneses's body.  
Sagun switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Sagun is on target with a firm overhand left.  
Sagun is on target with a cross.  
Sagun lands a cross to the body, an overhand left to the head and a cross to the head, AND DROPS MENESES!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  Meneses recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Sagun advances into close range.  Meneses pivots to the side of his opponent.  Meneses throws a left hook, but Sagun clinches his opponent.  Sagun leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Sagun's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Sagun switches the action to the outside and lands a sharp jab.  
Sagun lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Sagun is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Sagun lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES MENESES!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Sagun!
