John Covington vs Alec Hopes

Boxing Daily Report from the CP Boxing promoted show at Guyana-North Gym, Georgetown,  taking place on 26/07/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Guyana-North Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NCN, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Covington (18 - 7(1) - 2) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Alec Hopes(2 - 6) from Georgetown, Guyana.  Covington weighed in at 239 pounds and 8 ounces, while Hopes weighed in at 229 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark Dunlap, and the three ringside judges are Chris Hanlin, Jasper Harkness and David Humphries.
