Sezni Marvingt vs Frasier Lucas

Boxing Daily Report from the GBWH Promotions promoted show at Palais Des Sports, Paris,  taking place on 16/08/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the France Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Canal + Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sezni Starving Marvingt (18(17) - 2(1)) who hails from Angers, France and Frasier Lucas(34 - 11(2) - 1) from Montpellier, France.  Both Marvingt and Lucas weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Delano Sarraute, and the three ringside judges are Turiau Adjani, Tugdual Duchesnay and Tujan Perrault.  

Round 1: 

Lucas tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Marvingt lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Lucas pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Marvingt switches the action to the outside and lands two overhand rights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Marvingt feints a cross, and then lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Marvingt drives a firm jab into his opponents body.  
Marvingt hits home with a hard jab.  
Lucas closes the distance.  Marvingt is on target with a left hook.  
Marvingt is looking to keep his distance.  Lucas sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Marvingt connects with a stinging overhand right.

Lucas gets on the inside and is on target with a left uppercut to Marvingt's liver.  Lucas throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Lucas manages to force Marvingt onto the ropes.  Marvingt lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Lucas steps inside.  Marvingt lands a left uppercut.  
Marvingt steps to the outside and lands a sharp overhand right.  
Marvingt lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND SENDS LUCAS SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  Lucas almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Lucas lands a right hook.  
Lucas tries to land a right hook, but Marvingt blocks the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Marvingt lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Marvingt's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Lucas's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Lucas's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Marvingt lands a potent right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE LUCAS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Marvingt is looking to keep his distance.  Marvingt knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Marvingt lands a cross, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook, cross and a left hook to his opponents head, AND LUCAS IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.  Lucas now seems to have his senses back.

Lucas steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Marvingt on the ropes.  Lucas is on target with a left hook.  
Lucas throws a right hook, but Marvingt ties up his opponent.  Lucas is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Marvingt connects with a solid right hook.  
Marvingt steps to the outside and lands a solid overhand right.  
Marvingt lands a sharp jab.  
Marvingt is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a cross, but Lucas sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Marvingt lands a solid cross.  
Marvingt lands with a stiff jab.  
Marvingt lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Marvingt steps to the outside.  Marvingt sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Marvingt connects with a stinging cross.  
Lucas steps inside and is on target with a left hook to Marvingt's body.  Lucas attempts to land a left uppercut, but Marvingt blocks the shot and counters with a CRUSHING left uppercut.  LUCAS HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Marvingt!
