Roman Mate vs Juan Mirelez

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Chile-Santiago promoted show at La Florida Pomar, La Florida,  taking place on 21/07/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Chile-Santiago Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Roman Mate (13(6) - 4(1)) who hails from Maipu, Chile and Juan Mirelez(17 - 20(7) - 3) from Maipu, Chile.  Both Mate and Mirelez weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xavion Pinel, and the three ringside judges are Diego Vidales, Baltasar Pedregon and Santiago Escoto.  

Round 1: 

Mate closes the distance and digs in a left uppercut to Mirelez's body.  Mate ties up his opponent.  Mate throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. As they grapple, Mate pushes his forearm into Mirelez's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
