Darragh Rowan vs Rory Malone

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Bobby Moore Room Wembley Stadium, London,  taking place on 26/07/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Darragh Rowan (10(3) - 1) who hails from Bangor, UK and Rory Malone(7 - 12 - 3) from Dublin, Ireland.  Both Rowan and Malone weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dominic Sayer, and the three ringside judges are David Ladd, Spencer Dalton and Brendan Malone.  

Round 1: 

Rowan lands an overhand left followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

Malone throws a left hook, but Rowan ties up his opponent.  Rowan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Rowan advances into close range and throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Rowan holds on to his opponent.  Malone throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Malone is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Rowan lands an overhand left, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.  
Rowan is on target with a sharp right uppercut to Malone's body.  Rowan clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Rowan pushes his forearm into Malone's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Rowan to stop fouling.

Rowan advances into close range and connects with a solid right hook.  Rowan holds on to his opponent.  Rowan throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Rowan closes the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Malone switches the action to the outside.  Rowan connects with a solid cross.  
Rowan finds the target with a jab.  
Rowan is looking to close the distance and is on target with a stinging right uppercut to his opponents body.

Rowan steps inside.  Rowan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Malone drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Rowan lands a jab.  
Rowan connects with a right hook.  
Rowan is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Rowan ties up his opponent.  Rowan leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Malone throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Rowan advances into close range and is on target with a stinging right uppercut.  
Rowan advances into close range and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head, AND KNOCKS MALONE DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Rowan clinches his opponent.  Rowan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Rowan's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Malone almost instantly recovers. 
Rowan lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Rowan lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Malone recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Rowan lands a left hook.  
Rowan connects with a right hook.  
Malone throws a right hook, but Rowan holds on to his opponent.  Rowan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Rowan lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Malone stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Rowan lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Rowan advances into close range and lands a solid left hook.  
Rowan is on target with a solid right uppercut.  
Rowan lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body, AND DROPS MALONE TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.

Malone steps to the outside.  Rowan lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND DOWN GOES MALONE!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Rowan!
