John Giblin vs Justin Ramponi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Queensland promoted show at Cairns Storer, Cairns,  taking place on 17/07/2036:

Clearly AI Australia-Queensland have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Queensland Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Giblin (5 - 7 - 6) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Justin Ramponi(8 - 6 - 3) from Gold Coast, Australia.  Giblin weighed in at 105 pounds, while Ramponi weighed in at 104 pounds And 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Robert Catanach, and the three ringside judges are Fraser McNabb, Mark Taggert and Dave Evan.  

Round 1: 

Giblin steps away from his opponent.  Ramponi is on target with a cross.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Ramponi.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
