Santiago Tavera vs Montego Beltre

Boxing Daily Report from the Sumito Urayama's KO Kings promoted show at Estadio Luis Tróccoli, Montevideo,  taking place on 09/08/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uruguay Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on HBO, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Santiago Tavera (34(29) - 10(5)) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Montego Beltre(15 - 2) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Both Tavera and Beltre weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xaverius Gramajo, and the three ringside judges are Roman Bilbao, Alejandro Pecha and Santiago Remedios.  

Round 1: 

Beltre advances into close range.  Tavera throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
