Ove Flattum vs Borg Hegstad

Boxing Daily Report from the Xtreme Fighting Champions promoted show at Oslo Melgaard, Oslo,  taking place on 14/07/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nordic Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ove Flattum (40(37) - 12(12)) who hails from Oslo, Norway and Borg Hegstad(18(2) - 8) from Oslo, Norway.  Flattum weighed in at 112 pounds, while Hegstad weighed in at 111 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Olaf Ketelsen, and the three ringside judges are Dana Larsen, Olaf Bergland and Sindri Lysne.  

Round 1: 

Flattum steps inside and is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Flattum gets on the inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs, KNOCKING HEGSTAD DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Flattum holds on to his opponent.  Flattum pushes his forearm into Hegstad's face.  The referee warns Flattum and breaks the clinch.  Hegstad almost instantly recovers. 
Flattum digs in a firm right hook to his opponents ribs.  HEGSTAD WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Hegstad recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Flattum digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Flattum gets on the inside and hits home with a firm right hook.  
Hegstad lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Hegstad throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Flattum advances into close range and is on target with a left hook to Hegstad's ribs.  
Hegstad steps inside.  Flattum digs in a sharp left hook to Hegstad's body.  
Flattum lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Flattum throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Flattum finds the target with a jab.  
Flattum closes the distance.  Hegstad connects with a right hook.  
Flattum whips in a big right hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE HEGSTAD WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Flattum thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Hegstad away.  Flattum lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES HEGSTAD!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Flattum lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS HEGSTAD TO THE CANVAS!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Flattum!
