Mehmed Apak vs Savas Kashani

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Turkey-Ankara promoted show at Ankara Mumcu, Ankara,  taking place on 07/07/2036:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Turkey-Ankara Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mehmed Apak (11 - 16 - 3) who hails from Ankara, Turkey and Savas Kashani(7 - 0) from Ankara, Turkey.  Apak weighed in at 175 pounds, while Kashani weighed in at 174 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Erdem Balkan, and the three ringside judges are Goker Arap, Murat Demirel and Duygu Tekin.  

Round 1:

Kashani lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Apak attempts to land a jab, but Kashani sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Kashani feints a right hook, and then drives a jab into Apak's body.  
Kashani is looking to close the distance and drives a left uppercut into Apak's liver.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Kashani.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
