Chris Kennon vs Davie Boyd

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Kentucky promoted show at Lexington Mahaffy, Lexington,  taking place on 04/07/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Kentucky Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Kennon (6 - 8 - 1) who hails from Lexington, USA and Davie Boyd(10 - 13 - 2) from Louisville, USA.  Kennon weighed in at 174 pounds and 9 ounces, while Boyd weighed in at 175 pounds and 12 ounces.    As Boyd came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Mark Malis, and the three ringside judges are Ian Buist, Leon Prosser and Michael Balderston.
