Mark Sprout vs Juan Miguel

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Fair Expo Center Arnold Hall, Miami,  taking place on 05/07/2036:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Sprout (18(14) - 1) who hails from Thornton, USA and Juan Miguel(30(3) - 16(9) - 2) from Long Beach, USA.  Both Sprout and Miguel weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Elliot Balderas, and the three ringside judges are John Cook, Vicente Trevino and Mason Valcarcel.  

Round 1: 

Sprout lands a hard jab.  
Miguel is looking to close the distance.  Sprout lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Sprout steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Miguel closes the distance.  Sprout connects with a stinging right hook.  As Sprout tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Miguel has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Sprout is on target with a stinging left hook.  Sprout attempts to land a right hook, but Miguel blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Sprout switches the action to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Sprout lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Sprout is on target with a jab to Miguel's body.  
Miguel gets on the inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Miguel has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Miguel gets on the inside and attempts to land a left hook, but Sprout blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Sprout is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Sprout lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Sprout tries to keep the action at long range and lands a solid cross.  
Sprout lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Sprout advances into close range.  Miguel lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Sprout drives a stinging left hook into Miguel's body.  
Sprout throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Miguel gets on the inside and connects with a right hook.  
Sprout steps to the outside and hits home with a sharp cross.  
Sprout steps to the outside.  Sprout sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Sprout lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Miguel gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.

Miguel tries to keep the action at long range.  Sprout knows Miguel is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Sprout lands a cross followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head, AND DROPS MIGUEL!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 9.  Miguel now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

Sprout lands an overhand left.  
Sprout lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND MIGUEL IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.  Miguel almost instantly recovers.

Sprout lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head, AND DROPS MIGUEL TO THE CANVAS!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Sprout!
