Laurent Moreau vs Canaan Giono

Boxing Daily Report from the Wigwam Promotions promoted show at Dakar Arena, Dakar,  taking place on 19/07/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Western African Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Laurent Moreau (20(12) - 1 - 1) who hails from Dakar, Senegal and Canaan Giono(24(1) - 3(3) - 1) from Abidjan, Ivory Coast.  Both Moreau and Giono weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Turiau Millot, and the three ringside judges are Garner Leye, Landry de la Bretonne and Rance Artaud.  

Round 1: 

Moreau is looking to close the distance and digs in a solid left uppercut to Giono's liver.
