Patrick Norwick vs Denton McClelland

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Churchill Downs, Louisville,  taking place on 20/08/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the North American Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Patrick Gunner Norwick (49(44) - 3(2)) who hails from Fresno, USA and Denton the Hitman McClelland(17(17) - 0 - 1) from Syracuse, USA.  Norwick weighed in at 174 pounds and 11 ounces, while McClelland weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Buist, and the three ringside judges are Wayne Roberton, Euan Slone and Michael Balderston.  

Round 1: 

McClelland gets on the inside and connects with a stinging right uppercut.  McClelland ties up his opponent.  Norwick pushes his forearm into McClelland's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Norwick.  McClelland throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Norwick leans on his opponent using all his weight. McClelland pushes his forearm into Norwick's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures McClelland about fouling.  
Norwick steps away from his opponent.  McClelland lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.
