Mahdi Chindungwe vs James Masakadza

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zimbabwe-Bulawayo promoted show at Bulawayo Chinmano, Bulawayo,  taking place on 15/06/2036:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Zimbabwe-Bulawayo Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mahdi Chindungwe (16 - 17 - 3) who hails from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and James Masakadza(12 - 6(1) - 3) from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.  Both Chindungwe and Masakadza weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arran Zvirekwi, and the three ringside judges are Noah Chipendo, Billy Mpofu and Joseph Tongogara.  

Round 1: 

Chindungwe manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Chindungwe finds the target with a jab.  Chindungwe attempts to land a right hook, but Masakadza blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Chindungwe hits home with a right hook.  Chindungwe wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Masakadza dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Chindungwe throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Masakadza time to recover.
