James Stenhouse vs Duncan Furguson

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at The Venue at UCF, Orlando,  taking place on 04/07/2036:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are James Stenhouse (2 - 0) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Duncan Furguson(12 - 17(1) - 3) from Oklahoma City, USA.  Stenhouse weighed in at 238 pounds And 2 ounces, while Furguson weighed in at 244 pounds And 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Theo Ines, and the three ringside judges are Zachary Headden, Malcolm Kinion and Fanuco Onate.  

Round 1: 

Stenhouse gets on the inside.  Stenhouse pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Furguson feints a jab, but Stenhouse is not fooled and responds with a right uppercut to Furguson's ribcage.  
Furguson sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Stenhouse lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Stenhouse lands a stinging cross.  
Furguson is looking to keep his distance.  Furguson sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Stenhouse hits the target with a sharp jab.  
Stenhouse is on target with a left hook.  
Stenhouse advances into close range and connects with a firm left hook.  
Stenhouse sidesteps to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Stenhouse is looking to close the distance and connects with a firm right hook.  
Stenhouse lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  Stenhouse ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Stenhouse pushes his forearm into Furguson's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Stenhouse to stop fouling.

Furguson pivots to the side of his opponent and goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Stenhouse time to recover.  
Furguson throws a left uppercut, but Stenhouse clinches his opponent.  Stenhouse is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Stenhouse lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Stenhouse gets on the inside.  Stenhouse lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Furguson dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Furguson throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Furguson's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Furguson's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Stenhouse advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Stenhouse lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Stenhouse voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Furguson accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Stenhouse.  
Stenhouse is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Stenhouse advances into close range.  Furguson pivots from in front of his opponent.  Stenhouse lands a right hook.  
Stenhouse is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.

Stenhouse connects with a solid left hook.  Stenhouse clinches his opponent.  Stenhouse uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Furguson behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Stenhouse about fouling.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Stenhouse has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.  
Furguson pivots to the right of his opponent.  Stenhouse finds the target with a stiff jab.

Stenhouse is looking to close the distance and lands a MASSIVE left hook.  FURGUSON HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 7.
