Vermont Genet vs Baptiste Loga

Boxing Daily Report from the Money Promotion promoted show at Salle de F�te et de la Culture, Garoua,  taking place on 14/06/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vermont Genet (6(2) - 1(1)) who hails from Douala, Cameroon and Baptiste Loga(7 - 14(3) - 2) from Douala, Cameroon.  Both Genet and Loga weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Raul Truffaut, and the three ringside judges are Justin Mbamba, Mardian Bekono and Olympe Butor.  

Round 1: 

Genet hits home with a firm cross.  
Loga steps away from his opponent.  Genet drives a jab into Loga's body.  
Genet is looking to close the distance.  Genet pivots to the side of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Genet digs in a firm right uppercut to Loga's body.  
Genet forces Loga to retreat into the blue corner.  As Loga tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Genet dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Genet is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Loga attempts to land a jab, but Genet sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Genet gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Genet is on target with a WICKED right uppercut.  LOGA IS HURT!  Loga almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Genet lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Genet lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Loga walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Genet is on target with a jab.  
Genet is looking to close the distance and connects with a sharp right hook.  Genet ties up his opponent.  Genet pushes his forearm into Loga's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Genet quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Loga throws a right hook, but Genet ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Genet pushes his forearm into Loga's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Genet about fouling.  
Genet drives a stiff jab into his opponents face.  
Genet lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Genet lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Genet lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Loga almost instantly recovers. 
Genet pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a FIERCE left hook.  LOGA IS HURT!  
Genet quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a stinging jab.  
Genet backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Loga accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Genet.  
Genet steps inside.  Genet senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Genet lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head, AND DOWN GOES LOGA!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Loga now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Loga is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Loga sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Genet connects with an overhand left.  
Genet throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Loga's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Loga's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Loga's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.
